Metro Pacific tollroad unit announces new president and COO
Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) Chairman Manny V. Pangilinan has announced the appointment of Arrey A. Perez as MPTC’s new President and Chief Operating Officer, replacing Rogelio “Babes” Singson. In the interim, Pangilinan will assume the role of Chairman and CEO.
Effective November 20, 2024 — Perez will amplify the company’s customer-centric approach in serving its motorists and commuting public in NLEX, SCTEX, NLEX Connector, CALAX, CAVITEX, and Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway. He will also manage the expanding tollroad businesses in Indonesia and Vietnam.
Perez brings a wealth of over two decades of leadership experience before joining MPTC — including serving as President and CEO of Clark International Airport Corporation, where he pushed for flagship infrastructure projects to transform the Clark Civil Aviation Complex into the Clark Aviation Capital, a premier global civil aviation logistics hub. He was also a former Senior Vice President for the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), where he was instrumental in the master planning and transforming various BCDA properties into bustling economic districts.
With a solid track record in the mobility and customer service sector, Perez solidifies his commitment to provide excellent quality of service to motorists and the commuting public in its expressways
