PROJECTS

CAVITEX is a 14-km expressway along the coast of Bacoor Bay after south of Roxas Boulevard which exits to Bacoor City and Kawit, Cavite.

CAVITEX is located 11 kilometers from Manila, the capital city of the Philippines and 7 kilometers from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

This major road project was designed to further strengthen the commercial link between Metro Manila and the booming provinces of Cavite, Laguna and Batangas.

The CAVITEX is seen to ease traffic on a major stretch for travelers going to Cavite province, which hosts an export processing zone and other businesses and factories. Travel time will be reduced going to and from the Province of Cavite.

The Cavite-Laguna Expressway or CALAX is a 4-lane, 44.63 km closed-system tolled expressway connecting CAVITEX and the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX). CALAX will start from the CAVITEX in Kawit, Cavite and end at the SLEX-Mamplasan Interchange in Biñan, Laguna. It features state-of-the-art and environmentally friendly tollway facilities that not only aims to reduce travel time and traffic congestion but also decreases carbon emissions.

The CALAX will seamlessly connect several key towns and cities accelerating the growth of business and tourism in the region through its eight (8) interchanges:

CALAX SILANG EAST INTERCHANGE NOW OPEN

August 24, 2021

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) with MPCALA Holdings Inc. (MHI) inaugurated the fourth section of the 45-kilometer Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) with the opening of the CALAX Silang East Interchange Section, extending the operating sections from 10 kms to 14.24 kms.

Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) Subsection 5, targeted to open to motorists in the third quarter of 2021, is 93 per cent complete, MPCALA Holdings Inc. Friday, (April 30) announced.

CTBEX Swiss challenge by end of this year or early 2022
