Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) earned international recognition at the 10th Annual Global Good Governance (3G), presented by the London-based Cambridge International Finance Advisory (IFA) during its awards ceremony in Brunei. The recognition highlights MPTC’s commitment to child road safety and corporate governance.

MPTC received the 3G Best Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2025 for its pioneering support of the Child Road Traffic Injury Prevention (CRTIP) Program, a sustained collaboration with UNICEF Philippines launched in 2021. This joint initiative combines the strengths of both organizations to advance child road safety nationwide, benefiting over 20,000 children across 196 schools through safe school zones, data-driven interventions, road safety awareness, multi-sector collaboration and policy advocacy.

In addition, MPTC was honored with the 3G Excellence Award for Advocacy and Commitment to Corporate Governance 2025 for its innovative My CG App. Internally developed, this web-based platform enhances employee access to governance resources, promotes ethical leadership, and streamlines disclosures. Since its launch in 2021, the app has facilitated over 3,500 governance-related report submissions.

“These awards affirm MPTC Group’s commitment to go beyond building and operating roads by paving the way for a safer, more transparent, and inclusive future for all our stakeholders. We are deeply grateful to our leaders and partners for their unwavering support throughout this journey,” said Atty. Cynthia Maria Casiño, MPTC’s Chief Corporate Governance and Risk Officer and concurrent Head of Sustainability.

The 3G Awards celebrate individuals, institutions, organizations, governments and NGOs that prioritize governance and sustainability.

MPTC and its business units champion a sustainability-led approach guided by its sustainability strategic priorities — which are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) — to enhance customer experience, design for resilience, drive decarbonization, drive product utilization, and build, operate, and maintain with least environmental and social disruption. These priorities enable MPTC to integrate sustainability and accountability across its operations to build safer, more resilient, and future-ready communities.
